Invest in Somerset - now we know why people do it.

A county wide group chaired by Honor Chapman CBE has recently commissioned a significant piece of research to look at the market for inward investment in Somerset.

The report which was carried out by three South west businesses - from Cornwall, Wells and Frome, looked into the reasons why people locate to Somerset and the perceptions of Somerset as a business location from inside and outside the community.

With all the statistical information gathered, Tickbox marketing of Frome then drew conclusions about brand messages and target markets.

The Into Somerset company which is due to launch in the new year, will use the information to carry out a focussed marketing campaign, seeking business investors who appreciate the considerable offer of the Somerset lifestyle and have a match with the facilities and supply chain opportunities locally.
