Mendip Businesses Sharing Good Ideas

Almost 80 local businesses attended the 'Shine in 2009' event and shared their good ideas in the Top Tip Competition

The winning tip came from Sandra Pennyfather of Driving Ambition who said: 'Pay someone who has the time and expertise to shout your message from the rooftops.  PR and marketing are essential to shine in 2009.  She was closely followed by Matt Wellsted of Furball Magazine in Frome who said: 'Don't write all your best business ideas on a slip of paper and hand them  to a stranger'.

Other people used the opportunity to market their own businesses shamelessly.  Here is the list of all the entries:

Value your staff and train them

Be positive and happy but plan ahead and try to keep to your budget as much as possible!

Kick on and you will be fine!

Keep on top of costs and get out there to make sure people know you're there!

Remember you're uniqe, just like everybody else! Shine!

It's not the turnover that matters but the leftovers.

Join Red Berry and become happy and merry.

Employ Busy Bees cleaning and maintenance 2000 Ltd to make your home shine.

If you are busy, stay positive and keep doing what got you busy!

Many thanks to you all......
