Is Frome the most creative town in Britain?

A group of artists and arts promoters in Frome are throwing out a challenge to the rest of the country to prove that Frome is the most creative town in Britain.

Fay Goodridge of the The Art Book Seller in Frome has launched the challenge from Frome to the rest of the UK.

"I firmly believe that Frome is indeed the most creative town in Britain. There are so many creative venues here and it is a serious hub for artists and craftspeople of all description". 

In collaboration with a new group 'Creative Frome', Fay is carrying out detailed research into the number of businesses in the creative sectors to add weight to her challenge.

Mendip Business LIfe would love to hear from other local towns which think that they could challenge Frome's bid.
